Any blistering brought on by the application of a medicament must in* crease inflammationji and it is therefore evident that in cases of coldsj bronchitis, diptheria, croup, sprains* &c., the curative power of our extract °P the named diseases being unquestionably proved by former publications in this paper, an application of the oil instead of our extract must impair the. diseased. , The truth of our assertion is founded upon the fact that the oil is a resinous product, equivalent to common forpentine- its market Value being abodt three shillings one pound weight. Our ex* tract consists of the evaporating par tides of the gum leaves,' soothing and healing in its effects,' its price being twenty-four shillings for one pound weighty Our extract, the genuine article, is only made tip, in one half* ounce and one ounce vials; vials bear* ing on the labels our trade mark and signature.'
