BRITISH* AND FOREIGN. London, March 28. Serious outrages continue to be mitted in the disturbed districts of Ireland: News to hand to-day states that an attempt has been made in Donegal to destroy a farmhouse with an explosive bomb. The missile was thrown, and the explosion caused serious damage to the bonse, but the inmates escape'd without injury. In the city of Dublin to-day a murder has been committed under circumstances which point to the crime as" having beerf cforn'rtittea from political motives. Parnell, Dillon, and O'Kelly; have' applied to be released from custo'dy bri parole. It is not yet known what answer has been retrirned by the authorities to the request. It has transpired that Government have refused the request of Messrs Par--nell, Dillon, and O'Kelly, that they should be liberated on parofe. The division on the cloture proposals' of Government will take placS in the House of Commons on Thursday next; In the House of Commons to-day,-the Right Hon. W. E. Forster, Chief' Secretary for Ireland, made a statement in regard to the position of affairs irt Ireland. He said that there were hopeful signs of a cessation of the disorder, but that outrages must be stopped, or the Government would be compelled to ask the House to authorise the adoption of a stronger measure for the suppression of agrarian and political crimes. The steamship Durham has gone ashore at Gravesend during the heavy gale which has just been experienced. It is not known whether her position is dangerous or not. The Australian liner Famenoth, 983 tons, has become a total wreck at Gravesend.- Five of the crew are missing, and are believed to have been drowned.
