Cunniugliahi for a residence. Urea Was granted; W; Harrold applied fur a double' area.. —Granted; The application of 11. WagshaW for a double area was granted; d. iSieho'l applied by his agent, Mi' Hannan, for a residence area.—The application wds granted. The abdications of H. Chapman foi a drainage area, and Accourb and party, for a double area, by their agent Mi Hannan, were adjourned. C. Hood applied for a double area*.GraiVced conditionally. The application of D. Brown for si residence area Was granted, subject to the usual conditions. i. Hughes applied for protection.—Granted. The application of Ah Ping and a'n’6ther for a water-race was granted. The application of J. GoW for £ water-race was objected to by Broftu and party, but was granted conditionally. The applications of Paulsen and party lora double area, and J. Minogue for a branch-race, were adjourned. J. S. O’Brien applied for a doublearea.—The application was opposed by C. Mitchell, by his agent Mr Hannan; and refused. The application of J. Palmer for a tail-race was granted. D. B ake applied by his agent Mr Hannan, for a tail-race Granted, The application of J. H, King for a residence, area was refused. 'lhe application of J. Newton for an agricultural lease was granted, SUITS, In the cases of Rothwell against Porter, same v. Crawford, and same v. Jamieson.—Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiffs. The merits of each case wet e precisely similar, the defendants being sued for the removal of their names from a certificate of registrati°u.—Judgment was given for the plaintiff in each case, Turner and party v. White.—Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiffs. Ihia was a claim for the cancellation of the certificate for a special site. Evidence was taken, and judgment was given for the plaintiffs. The certificate was ordered to be cancelled, and the ground to be divided equally, ihe Court was then adjourned.
