Any blistering brought off by the application of a medicament must iUt Crease inflammation, and it is therefore evident that in cases of -wounds, colds; bronchitis, dip,theria, , croup* sprains, &c., tlie curative power of our extract on the named diseases being, tionably proved by former in this })aper, an application of the oil instead of our extract must iuipait the diseased. ~ . .’ . , ; . , The truth of our assertion is founded upon the fact that the oil is a reSiuoilS product, equivalent to common -tiffpem; tine, its market value being about thred shillings one pound weight. ' Our eXr tract consists of the evaporating particles of the gum leaves, soothing avid healing in its effects, its price being tvyeuty-fonr shillings for one poitud weight. Our extract, the genuine article, is ouly made up in one halt ounce and one ounce vials!; vials bearing on the labels our trade mark and signature. SANDER and SONS, Sole Manufacturers of the Eucalyptus Extract; Sandhurst, November, ISTB* titJNCAN M'LEAN, Wholesale Agent for New Zealand; The Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J.P.,- on the 17th October; 1877, at Sandhurst :—“ Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Ruabe; of Irdnbark, for nine weeks; and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolute!/ necessary. At this junction Mr Raabe' called on Messrs Sander and Sons; pi‘o-' caring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and; by the appli-' cation of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and lie lias now quite recovered.” Brief Extracts from the Bendigo Evening News:— Mr Gieschen, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold ill November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture; arid all medical skill proved ineffectual ill giving relief; Cured after , taking extract internally for six months. A man having his arm bruised! severely at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the extract, aud the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbiti (Runnyraede) informed the manufacturers that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleveii years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. In November, Mrs Reeves, from the’ Rifleman’s Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cute of deliriuni caused by sunstroke, which took place’ in the family of Mr Ryan, batcher, ci Back Creek. , The wife of Mr Ticket suffered id the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of consider-' able size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December; 1877, states:—Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke iii the night crying with earache.
