BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, January 18. The Irish Land Commission are now deciding upon the appeals by the landlords against the decision of the Land Courts. So far the findings of the Chief Commissioner have confirmed the reductions made in the rents. Mr Vernon has, however, dissented trom the opinions of his colleagues. Scoville, counsel for the defence, continues his speech on behalf of the prisoner.
