Brief Extracts from the Bendigd Evening News:— Mr Gieschen, residing near Syden-* ham Gardens, had a very severe cold ini November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief! Cored after taking extract internally for six months.A man having his arm bruised severely at a crushing ra'achiue, in Long Gully, applied the extract, and the ac cident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Wepprier, in Colbinabbiu (Runnymede; informed the manufac* turers that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon by a cow.In November, Mrs Reeves, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of as cure t of delirium, caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swellin* which had formed a lump of consider* able size, disabling her from attending to any work* She removed the swell* ing completely by a continued applica* tion of the extract. The Donald Times,- of Ist December", 1877, states:—Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache.
