JjIREEMAN’S GHLORODYNE. The Original and Only Genuine. It acts like a charm in Diarrhoea, and is the only specific in Dysentery and Cholera. Any person not being the holder of g, miners’ right, license or lease, duly empowering him in that behalf, who shall piine for gold or occupy qr carry any business upon any (frown lands shall be liable to the penalties ’following— that is to gay :—For the first offence, a sum not ex r peeding five pounds; for the second or any subsequent offence, a guip pqj; exceeding ten pounds nor Ipssj than five pounds, With imprisonment in some gaol, there to remain for any time not exceeding one calendar month for every five pounds or fractional part of five pounds so to be paid; Provided always that in any case where a miners’ right or business license may have been lost or destroyed and the pxistende of such right qr license can bp proved, it shall be lawful to issue tq such person a duplicate of such miners’ right pr license in lieu of and comprising the like rights and privileges of such lost or destroyed right or license, until the due pxpiration of the same, and for which the fee of one shilling shall be paid in case miners' fight and five shillings in the case p. business license, and a statutory declaration shall in all such cases be made as to identity and the facts of the case. 173, Any person whp shall knowingly mine qr employ any person tq mine for gold on any land belonging to a private individual, withput the consent of the pwner thereof or his duly authorised agent, shall be subject to the like penalties as are jnentioned in the last preceding clause. 174;. If any person shall forge or alter any miners’rightj license, lease or other document issued under the authority of this Act with intent to defeat the provisions pf this Act, or to defraud any persons whomspver, he shall be guilty of miadqmeanqur, and on conviction thereof befpre any Court of competent jurisdiction shall be subject to’ a fine not exceeding pne hundred pounds, or imprisonment with or without hard labor not exceeding three years, or both, at the discretion of j;he Court. 175.
