WARDEN’S COURT.

The following applications were dealt with
A. Burton applied for a residence area.—The application was granted conditionally. The application of F. Keenan for a special site was granted. P. O’Rourke applied by his agent, Mr Hannan, for a double area.—The application was postponed to the 21st inst., in order to allow an application of Mr Gow’s for a branch race being heard at the same time.
The application of Thomas Thomas by his agent, Mr Hannan, for protection for a hut at Dill man’s was granted. J. Meade applied for paotection for one man’s ground, at Larrikins, whilst erecting machinery,—Mr Hannan appeared for the applicant.—Granted. The application of P. Moran fof a double area at Ross Terrace was granted. G. B. Way and party, by their ageilt Mr Hannan, applied for a double area at Ross Terrace. The application was adjourned to the 21st inst. G. Yoysey applied by his agent, Mr Seddon, for an extended claim,— Granted.
The application of James Burrell, by his agent, Mr Hannan, for a residence area, Education Reserve, Greenstone Road, was granted conditionally. Similar applications from j. han, W. Heintz, and H. Healy, were also granted. The application of J. Edward and party for the registration of a tunnel, was granted. Mr Hannan appeared for the applicants. Harris and party applied for protection.—Granted.
The application of Anderson and party for the registration of a watertace, was granterl. Charles Ryming applied by his agent, Mr Hannan, for a double-area, at Larrikins, —Granted conditionally. SUITS. His Worship stated that in the case of Henderson and party, v, Rowley, he would reserve judgment, to enable him to state a case for the Supreme Court. Acconrt and party v, O’Brien and party.—This was a suit in which plaintiffs claimed ground on the plea of abandoment. Mr Hannan appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr Barff for O’Brien and party. Evidence was taken, and it Was proved that O'Brien had received severe injuries while working in the claim by the falling of a boulder, and was unable to work. The case was adjourned to 2lst inst., to allow a survey to be made. P. M'Namam, v. B. Brogan.—Mr Hannan appeared for the dt fend ant. In this case, plaintiff sued for the recovery of £4O asserted to be owing on the value of a share at Cape Terrace. After evidence had been taken, judgment was given for the plaintiff for £l6, aad costs of Court.
