REPLY TO "OBSERVER.”
Misthur Edithor—Havin come to he fore onct more, meb'be you’d be aftlfhr givin my episble due not>is. Sure an its only fur the sake of mtld Dick that I venture to rite. “ Obsarver,” bad luck to him, who finds holes in his cote for havin enny thing to do wid a small party, an bedad he calls thim ouldfashioned names too, faix its a grate thing to lie a sootier as the ould schoolmasther used to say long ago. Sure he must be a grate frind of Dick’s to warn him, but if he’d take a fool’s advice he’d do fwhat the colonials say “ dry up ” and lave him alone, as he’s cute enough to till a frind from an inemy, so when he’s at the top of the poll on Friday next “ Obsarver ” ’ll find that he’s not tied to any old Granny’s “ apron strings ”at all at all. So no more at prisint from your old frind, Paudeen O’ Rafferty. Kumara, Dec. 7th, 1881.
