NOTICE OF POLLING DAY. l'N pursuance of "The Regulation of 1 Elections Act, 1881," I, William Alfred Barton, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Kumara, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ hearing d.-ite the Ninth day of November, 18S1, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an ELECTION will be held for the retu;n of ONE Qualified Person to serve.as a M EMBER for the said Electoral District ; and that the NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court House, Kumara, at noon on the FIRST day of DECEMBER, 1881 ; and that the POLL, if necessary, .will be taken at the several polling-places of the said district, on the NINTH day of DECEMBER, 1881.
