[to the editor.] Sir —Mr Seddon promised when here on Monday (the Act being ambiguous) to obtain the County Solicitor’s opinion to a query of mine which will be of great importance to candidates at the election next Wednesday, i.e., if my name is on the County Roll once, twice, or thrice, for miner’s rights, and once for being a ratepayer, whether the returning officers can issue a corresponding number of voting papers]—lf this can be done, some electors will have five votes in this riding which will bj the very kernel of the election.
