The only news the Government have from Parihaka to-day is that Mr Bryce has posted a notice there warning natives not belonging to the place to return immediately to their homes. Westport, November 5. The Westport colliers' strike is ended, the miners have agreed to a fortnight's notice on both sides. November 7. The Kennedy arrived from Caswell Sound. Sixteen men are working there, and the marble is highly spoken, of by the steamer people.
