LOYAL ORANGE LODGE.

The. Bible and Crown Loyal Orange Lodge of Kumara held their annual celebration last evening, by having a grand soiree in the Public Hall. At about nine o'clock from 50 to SO ladies and gentlemen sat down to a good repast, the R.W.M. Bro. Thos. Rice, presiding, and. Bro. John Caldwell, the secretary, acting as vice-chairman. After ample justice had been done to the good things provided, The R.W.M. Bro. Thos. Rice said he was glad to see so many visitors present. As an Orangeman he was always willing, notwithstanding that many supposed to the contrary, to hold out the hand of friendship to Protpstanb mihl Catholics alike, lie wished them all a hearty'welcome, and hoped they would er.joy themselves.
