A N ENTERTAINMENT will be i\. given by the Kumara AMATEUR* DRAMATIC CLUB on the evening of WEDNESDAY, the 9th NOVEMBER (the Prince ot Wales’ Birthday) for the purpose of liquidating the remaining Debt on ST. PATRICK’S SCHOOL. Further particulars will bo given in a future issue. TO CAPITALISTS, SPECULATORS, AND OTHERS. FOR SALE, by Private Treaty, that well-known Hotel in Dillman’s Town known as CONNELLY’S HOTEL, on the Main Road between Kumara and Christchurch, now in the occupation of Mr C. PETERS ; together with Good-will, License, Stock-in-Trade, Bar Fittings, Furniture, &c., Alcock’a Billiard Table; handsome Boucer’a Pianoforte, quite new ; and every requisite for a tirst-class Hotel. Furniture, &c., may be taken at a valuation. The House occupies the best possible position in Dillman’s Town; is adjacent to the road now being constructed through from Kumara to Christchurch road; and is doing the best business. Satisfactory reasons can be given by the Proprietor for retiring; and all information can he obtained by applying to the Proprietor, Mr C. PETERS, on the premises.
