I shall be a candidate for your suffrages at the election shortly to be held for the return of a Member to the House of Representatives. Having been honored with your- confidence in the present Parliament, I can honestly say that I have endeavoured to do my duty as your representative, and that I have to the best of my ability furthered the interests of this district and that of the colony.
