J. P.—The quotation made use of by his Honor Mr Justice Richmond when summing up in the recent trial for murder is from Shakespeare; and may be found in Othello, Act 111., Scene 3. Although as printed, it is substantially correct, the author's version reads : I'Trifles, light as air, Are, to the jealous, confirmations strong As proofs of holy writ."
