Her Majesty the Queen has sent a telegram to Mrs Garfield, expressing sympathy and condolence with her in the loss of her husband. The Right Hon. W. E. Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, has refused to grant a general liberation of the prisoners who are detained in custody under the provisions of the Irish Coercion Act. Aden, September 20. An outbreak of Cholera at this place is raging with increased severity, and numerous deaths have occurred. Every precaution is being taken to lesson the spread of the epidemic. Paris, September 21. In response to the Bey's recent protest, the French Government has sent a re-assuring communication that it has no intention to occupy Tunis. Berlin, September 21. The marriage of the Crown Prince of Sweden and Norway with the Princess of Baden was celebrated today.
