[to the editor.] •MR—lt seems something unaccountable why there was not an inquiry into the cause of the late fire in the vicinity of the Hospital. If the fire had taken place in the business portion of the town, theie wouid have been an inquiry at once ; and people’s lives and property in the suburbs are of as much
