Wyndham, July 17, ’ The ketch Eliza M‘Phee, Captain Campbell, bound from Dunedin to Invercargill, dragged her anchors is Waikawa harbor on Friday night, at 10 o’clock, and went ashore on the beach. No lives were lost. The cook, a Geiman, was washed into the breakers, and had a very narrow escape; the captain and crew saved his life in the boat at great risk. The vessel is said to be the property of the captain, and is insured. The cargo consists of iron and lead, so there is little hope of its being saved. The captain and crew are doing their utmost to secure the wreckage coming ashore. Timaru, July 17.
