[to the editor.] Sir —May I be permitted to suggest to the Borough Council the advisibility of forming a footpath opposite the Post Office, and extending it past the en-
trance to the Uourt-house. The lowlying ground where the footpath should be is always finder water after a shower of rain. Also, the desirability of removing the pieces of glass off the footpath in front of the site of the late fire in Seddon street $ or covering it over with ihore gravel-.—t ani, sir* yours, &c., Ratepayer.
