William Pitt was Prime Minister of England for over 17 years—from Dec. 1783 to March 1801 ; the Earl of Liverpool nearly 15 years—from June 1812 to April 1827 ; Viscount Melbourne 0 years 5 months—from April 1835 to Sept. 1841 ; Lord Palmerston 0 years 4 months—from June 1859 to November 1805 ; and Earl Beaconsfield (then Benjamin Disraeli) for 0 years 2 months—from Feb. 1874 to April 1880.
