BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, April 4. The latest bulletin with regard to the health of Earl Beaconsfield states that his Lordship is no worse since the last report. A severe disturbance occurred to-day at Clogher, County Tyrone, Ireland. The sympathisers with a tenant violently resisted the service of a writ for his ejectment, when a serious riot occurred between the people and the police. The latter fired upon the riot ers, and killed two and wounded several others. Athens, April 4. The Greek Government has issued a circular to the united powers regarding the offer made by the Porte for the settlement of the frontier question. The circular repeats, and seeks to justify, the refusal of the Hellenic Government to accept the offer of Turkey to cede certain territory in Thessaly alone, and strongly urges the claims of Greece to the town of Previsa, in Epirus, in addition. LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Brisbane, April 4. Tenders for the construction of a railway between this city and Sandgate Watering Place, about 14 miles distant, have been received. The lowest, at £38,634, was accepted. Melbourne, April 4. The Australian team of footballers will ploy their first match against the Victorians on the 7th May. They will proceed on a tour through New Zealand on the 4th June. His Excellency the Marquis of Normanby, is suffering from an attack of fever and ague. Graham Berry will consequently preside at the meeting of the Executive Council to be held tomorrow. Munro, M.L.A, was violently assaulted by Sergeant, also an M.L.A.,in public to-day, and the latter has been arrested.
