Monday, April 4. [Before H. A. Stratford* Esq.* Warden.j The Court opened at 8 p.m. APPLICATIONS. Mr Maher applied for the registrar tion of a tunnel known as the Kumara sludge-channel. The Warden produced a document, showing that an agreement had been made between Messrs Guinness and Perkins, that the case should be ad* journed for a fortnight. The application Was adjourned to the 25th inst. at 8 p.m, John Maher applied for the registrar tion of a special site for tailings, such site being immediately adjoining the mouth of the Kumara sludge-channel.-The application was adjourned to the 25th inst., at 8 p,m. Tuesday, April 5. The Court opened at 9 aim, Alfred Stone applied for a water* race, which was granted. -• ... Henry Riley and party ; applied to register a dam at Templar’a-Gully;—* Application granted. ... y. Sum Turn and party, applied for. per* mission to divert the course of the Greenstone—Granted without prejudice to existingrights. Sum Turn and party made an appli* cation to . the Warden that , he would define the banks of the.-.jGreenstone Creek at a certain point, •„ This application,was adjourned from ■ the 23id.March to enable the Mining Registrar to visit the ground, and.-to report to-the Court the: eon. received and application granted as fol* lows :—Under Section 14 “ RegulatiopS Mines Act, 1877," the width pf Greenstone Creek is defined tbps, from the exposed reef on each side of the Greenstone Creek from the upper to the lower boundaries of the ordinary claim marked off by Sum Turn and party on the 11th March, 1881, said to be about 900 feet in width. Michael Giffney and party applied for a water-race at Paddy’s Gully.—* Granted. The same party applied for a double area at Larrikin’s.—Granted. Patrick Tansey and party applied fot a double area.—Granted. Michael Flanagan and party applied for a double area.—Granted. The Court then adjoarued till Tues* day next, the 12th inst., at 9 a.m,
