[The Editor does not, necessarily, adopt the opinions expressed by correspondents.] STATE SCHOOL PRIZES. 3[to the editor.] Sir —As one who indirectly subscribed to the prize fund of the State' School, can you inform me what he* came of the two very handsome-looking-boxes (either writing desks or workboxes) that were displayed together with the other prizes on the stage at the Theatre Royal, on Friday night last 1 If they were prizes, why are the recipients names unpublished in the general list that appeared in your issue of the following day ?—Yours, &c., One -Interested. [The Committee can probably give our correspondent the desired information.—Ed. K.T.] .
