The disputed wager case between Drake, bookmaker, and Goodison, arising over Mata, the winner of the Dunedin Cup, was decided thia evening by Tattersall's Club Committee in favor of Goodison. This means that Drake has to pay .£I9OO. February 18. Dr. Corse, an old Cromwell resident, dropped dead this morning. HAWKES BAY V. AUSTRALIANS. Napier, February 18. The Napier cricket match was concluded today. Hawkes Bay twentytwo seored 7i in their second innings, thus losing the match by one innings and one run.
