Any blistering brought oil by tUB application of a medicament must increase inflammation, and it is therefore evident that in cases of wounds, colds, bronchitis, diptheria, crpup, sprains, &c., the curative' poWet of our extract on the named diseases being tioriably proved by foitrier publication#, in this paper, an application bf the* s oil instead of bur.extract must impair the,diseased. . . Cured after three applications of the extract; The same gentleman buffeted bight years from rupture, and all' medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief Cured after taking extract internally for six months. A man having his atm’ bruised severely at. a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the extract, and the ac* cident did riot even necessitate as muck as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in ColbinabbiU (Runnymede) informed the mannfao l turers that the extract applied "twice • restored health to her daughter, eleven, years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. In November* Mrs ReeVes, from the Rifleman’s Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cure of delirium, caused by sunstroke, whiph took place ' in the family of Mr Ryan* butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered id the bend of the knee front a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swell l ing completely by a continued application bf the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December 1 * 1877, states:—Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache.
