Brief Extracts From the Bendigd Evening. News:— Mr Gieschen, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold id. November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. The wife of Mr Ficfeel suffered iri : the bend of the''knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of consider-' able size, disabling her from attending to any work; She removed the swell* ing completely by a continued applica* tion of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states:—Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache.
