[NEVr ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, June 22, At ta Magistrate’s Court held this afternoon, Alexander Eddie, on two charges of selling liquor in less quantities than two gallons, was fined £lO ton each charge. The Government have received a telegram from the Native Minister with reference to the obstruction to road parties by natives. It states that the natives had some cultivation in dose proximity to where the fence was erected, and were afraid that if the Jto&d was taken through the fence, the cattle would trespass on their crops, The Northern constabulary camp has been shifted about two miles southward to Pungarehua, and'the southern camp a like distance northwards to Waitaha. The two camps are now only two miles apart.
