Mr Buchanan-, stated that Judge Mayraott, against whom some eurious allegations were made recently, had not been suspended pending an investigation of his conduct, but had been told that it was desirable that he should take leave of absence pending a decision being arrived at. Judge Meytoott had, accordingly* applied fbr leave of absence, and would perform no judicial function.
