The Albanians continue to resist the cession of territory to Montenegro, and the Montenegrins have decided to attack the Albanians at Gnssinja and Plava. In consequence of the strict blockade which is being maintained, the Albanians are short of provisions, and this will, it is expected, facilitate the settlement of the difficulty. June 1. Midhat Pasha has tendered his resignation to the Sultan, who has, however, not yet accepted it. DEATH OP THE EMPRESS OF RUSSIA. St. Petersburgh, June 3. It is stated, on what is believed to be good authority, that her Majesty purposes paying a visit to Ireland in the autumn. Nearly twenty years have elapsed since her last and only visit, she, in company with the Prince Consort, shortly before his death in 1861, having made a tour through the country. •
