The manager of the bank was engaged feeding his horse at ten o'clock p.m., when suddenly he was bailed up, and compelled to open the safe, from which £4BB in gold was taken. The manager's wife and sister were covered by revolvers while the money was being taken. The robbers departed at one o'clock in the morning.
