HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Wellington, May 28. In the House to-day, Ur Wallis gave notice that he Would move for the production of papers lativeto the sailing of the Hinemoa od her last two trips to enable members to attend the session of Parliament. Mr Levin gave notice that he would ask leave to introduce the Bank of New Zealand Act Amendment Bill. Mr Beetham, on behalf of Colbnfel Trimble, announced that on Tdesddy next he (Colonel Trimble) would move an Address in Reply to the Speech of the Governor. A message was received from the Governor covering a despatch from the Secretary of State, acknowledging the receipt of a vote of condolence on the death of the Princess Alice passed last session by both Houses of Parliament, and stating that the Queen fully appreciated the communication. Mr Hutcheson gave notice of his intention to introduce a Bill to amend the Municipal Corporations Act, He alfco asked to have laid upon the table a return showing how much had been spent on the Wellington Foxton Railway out of the vote of £IO,OOO passed last session for the construction of that line. The Premier gave notice of the Regulation of Elections Bill, Corrupt Practices Prevention Bill, and Electiott Petition Bill. The Premier introduced a Bill Amend the Electric Telegraph Act, and it was read a first time. The House adjourned till Tuesday.
