Italian Parliament are now proceeding and Garibaldi has chosen an opportunity to address the electors in a sp ech which severely attacks the present dynasty, and which declares it is ruining Italv.

Many laborers employed ou the works at Fisherman's Bend have been discharged, pending Parliamentary sanction being given to the carrying out of the Yana scheme;

Adelaide, May 27. Parliament was opened to-day by the Governor, who, in his speech on the occasion, announced a Bill to amend the constitution, for increasing the number of members in Council and Assembly, for alerting the boundaries of the electoral districts', for amendment of the Insolvency and Education Acts, and other measures of merely local interest to be introduced during the session.
