SVi}NEV, May 24. Information has been deceived by private cablegrams from America, that Hanlon has formally agreed to row Trickett on the Thames in November for the Sportsman’s Cup. Trickett will start for England immediately, A meeting has been called for the purpose of providing funds for the journey. It is probable that William Trickett, a brother, will accompany the Champion. Irregularities have been discovered in the accounts of the chief clerk for the Exhibition Commission. A sum of £SOO cannot be accounted for. Melbourne, May 24.
