Gladstone is engaged in the formation of a new Ministry, and has already filled the following offices :—Secretary of State for Foreign Granville j Secretary of State for' India, Marquis of Hartington ;• First'Lord of the Admiralty, Earl Northbrook; Lord High Chancellor, Lord.Selborae; Secretary for War, Mr H. Childers; Chief Secretary for Ireland, Mr W. B. Foster. Mr Gladstone, as previously telegraphed, will hold office as First Lord of the Treasury and Chancellor of the Exchequer.
