IN pursuance of the provisions of the “County of Westland Act, 1868,” I, Richard John Seddon, Returning Officer for the Arahura Road Board District, hereby give notice that an ELECTION to fill three EXTRAORDINARY VACANCIES will be held on SATURDAY, the Bth day of MAY, 1880, to elect Throe Qualified Persons to fill the said vacancies, and act as MEMBERS of the AR A HIJRA ROAD BOARD; and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will be take place at the Road Board Office, Stafford, at Noon on WEDNESDAY, the 28th day of APRIL, 1880, when each Candidate must be nominated by an Elector duly qualified, and seconded by another so qualified; and the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on SATURDAY, the Bth day of MAY.
