The Christchurcir coach, with five passengers and seven bags of mails for Kumara, passed the Bealey at an early hour this morning. We understand that several gentlemen of position and influence and who, if elected, will command the respect of the ratepayers, will be nominated for the three vacant seats in the Arahura Road Board. As a sale of town lands will shortly be held here it will be necessary for those persons who wish to have the improvements made on their sections valued, to apply 'to the chief Commissioner of Crown Lands, at Hokitika, for this purpose, before the 10th of next month, prior to the sale taking place.
