Not long ago, an Irishman applied to an overseer in a Tyne shipyard to be put on a job. He remained for a time -uncontradicted. A<fter a slight pause, another inquired " Which hand do y<;u share with, uncle 1" "With my right hand," replied the first.' "Then that is, your ; peculiarity," responded the other, " most people shave with a razor."
