At a Cabinet; Council meeting held yesterday, ifc was resolved to give the Melbourne Harbor Trust facilities to commence the improvements recommended by Sir John Coode* The" works will be commenced forthwith; An application has beeu made in banco against David Syrae, proprietor of the Melbourne Age, for contempt of Court, in commenting upon an action for libel which he brought against the Melbourne Punch, while the case is sub judice.
