Captain D. Yule, the well-known agent for the Wellington Coal Company and s.a Grafton (saya the Westport Times) ia about to leave Westport. Mr Ferguson, the gentleman who recently visited and reported on the Buller coal-fields on behalf of Wellington shareholders, has assumed the management of the Coal Company. Mr Ferguson is a practical coal-miner of wide experience in the coal districts of Scotland, and it is to be hoped that bis advent in this district will be the signal for better days for the Wellington Company. It has not yet been decided who will succeed the captain as agent for the Grafton.
