+ BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, February 4. The Strathleven's experimental shipment of meat is pronounced thoroughly satisfactory. The Lord Mayor of Dublin has intimated that the relief of distress in Ire. land would have to be suspended were it not for the liberal subscriptions which have been received from Australia towards the relief fund.
