COUNTY OF WESTLAND. County Chairman’s Office, Hokitika January 20, 1880. NOTICE is hereby given that"%he DOG TAX FOR 1880 is NOW DUE. Persons residing in the County of Westland OUTSIDE the' BOUNDARIES of the BOROUGHS of ROSS, HOKITIKA, or KUMARA, are liable to the County Council for the registration fees of such dogs as they keep ; and such fee should be paid to the COUNTY ONLY, and not to the Boroughs. The Collectors of Dog Registration Pees, and their offices in the- several Ridings of Westland, are t—> Arahnra—Mr Thomas Kerr; Office, Newrick’s Temperance Hotel. Stafford. Kaneri and Totara—Mr Richard Beck Office, Private Residence, Kanieri. Okarito—Mr J. Butler j Office, Mr Benyon’s Store, Okarito. The tax can also be paid at the Council Chambers, Hokitika. H. RICHARDSON RAE, Clerk to the Council.
VTOTICE.—If the GOODS left in my 1a possession by Mr J. THOMPSON are not claimed within fourteen days from this date, they will be sold, to pay the expenses incurred thereon. MARGARET COX. January 21, 1880.
