SIR —We, the undersigned ratepayers, respectfully request that you will accede to the desire of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, and call a public meeting of the inhabitants of this district at as early an opportunity as possible, for the purpose of devising means for raising subscriptions for the relief of the sufferers through famine and distress in Ireland.
