CEMETERY FEES.
[to the bditor.]
Sir—l think the time- has arrived when the Cemetery regulations should be made known to the public. When a person dies in Kuniara or its vicinity, nobody seems to know what to do or what they havo to pay for grave or ground. lam certain that "Tenderer," whose letter appeared in your issue of the 9th inst. does not. His tender for funerals was made under the impression, when he wrote his tender, that a pauper's grave cost as much as any other grave; or, in my thinking, his tender would have worn a different aspect. Therefore it is the duty of the Borough authorities to look after sach matters ; the sooner they enlighten the public in Cemetery forms and its various fees, the sooner will they have done their duty in that direction.—l am, &c, A Ratepayer. Kumara, Jan. 14th, 1880. [The impression of "Tenderer" was a correct oue.—Ed. K.T.]
