London, December 12. It is denied that the Empress Eugenie intends to go to Zululand. The subscription to the New Zealand loan amount to £12,000,000. Allotments equal to 40 per cent, of subscriptions will be made at 4s 8d premium. The Times publishes a paragraph to the effect that the trial of the Irishmen for sedition will be abandoned. Keiller has been admitted to bail.

, Wellington, December 15. At the R.M; Court to-day a colored seaman lieldriging to the ship Arethusa was committed for trial, on the charge of stealing £7 10s from the cook. Mark Ryan for issuing valueless cheques was retnaiidedj and tile charge of forgery will be preferred against him.
