There's all the parsons and the priest, Oh .New Year's Day ; And 'teachers, half a score at least, On New Year's Our M.H.R., with lungs so sound, Will be the first ,nian on the ground, With major Pearn, so plump and sound, On New Year's Day. It's hard to tell what all .will be On New Year's Day ') We 've an enterprising Committee, i .. ,Fp r New Year's Day ; We'll have the old games o'er again, Provided that it doesn't rain : Above all mind the swings,, John Bain, For New Year's Day !
