The Collectors are— Mr Thomas Kerr, Newrick’s, Stafford, for Aralmra Riding, Mr Richard Beck, Kanierq forlvanieri and Totara Ridings. Mr J. Butler, Okarito, for Okarito Riding. For the convenience of Ratepayers, Rates will also be received at any time, for any of the Ridings, at the Council Chambers, Hokitika. TO THE CHAIRMAN AND COUNCILLORS OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WESTLAND, NEW ZEALAND: IJIHE PETITION of the Undersigned, being Ratepayers of the Arahura Road Board District, County of Westland, humbly sheweth— That, whereas, it is provided by the 37th 38th, and 39 th clauses of the Counties Act, 1876, that the Council may, by Special Order, declare the Road Board of any Road District dissolved, and the Road District merged into the County. And, whereas, the Road Board of the Arahura District fails to carry out to the satisfaction of the Ratepayers, of the said District, the administration of local works : Now, therefore, we the undersigned Ratepayers of the Road Board District as aforesaid, petition you the County Council of Westland, to declare the Road Board of the said Arahura Road District to be dissolved, and the said District to be merged into the County' of Westland.
