It was adjourned until the 24th for the evidence of the boy Carpenter, now in Wellington, who was last seen with deceased. Ciiristchurch November 10. His Excellency Sir Hercules Robinson arrived to-day, by special train from the Port at noon. He was re* ceived.at by the Mayor: On the arrival of the special "train at Ciiristchurch his Excellency and party were received by the Hon, W. Robinson, Mr H. P.
