In these colonies, those excesses which we have indulged in “hot youth” tell upon us with fearful interest. Our regrets are useless, our futile. It is astonishing that so many are driven mad, ruined in health, and are bankrupt in spirits, hope, and money ! Have I not for years pointed out to them that—“ I, Dr. L. L.
