So far as the committing of imposition against the public in such a case is concerned, the consequences wbuld not be sennits j but aS the qualities of both of the products are in many eases directly opposed td one another, we consider it our duty td direct the public attention to the following facts The eucalyptus oil is recorded to be of value aS a iiiedicainent in Cases of rheumatism of secondary, nature, and manifests a drawing* blistering effect upon the skin. Any blistering brought dtt by the ap» plication of a medicament rtiust increase inliamatiort, and it is therefore evident that in cases of wounds, Colds, bronchitis, diptheria, croup, sprains &a, the citrative power of oitr extract on the named diseases being nnquestionably proved by former publications in this paper; An application of- the oil instead of our extract must impair the diseased* The truth of our assertion is founded upon the fact that the Oil is a resinouU product equivalent to Common turpentine) its market value being about three shillings one pound weight; our extract consists of the evaporating particles of the gum leaves, soothing and healing.in its effects, its price being twenty-four shillings for one poutid weight; Our extract, the genuine article, is only made up. in one half ounce and one ounce vials j vials bear l ing on the labels our trade mark and signature; SANDER and SONS, Sole Manufacturers of the Eucalyptus Extract* Sandhurst, -November, 1878; DtTNOAN M'LEaN, . The wife of Mr Fic'kel suffered iii the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of Considerable size, disabling her from attending ito any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache.
